Transportation
and Parking on campus
We
will provide a van transportation between the conference hotels
(Saga and Sheraton) to Caltech campus. If the weather is good,
it is also nice to walk from Saga to the campus. The conference
will be held in 201 East Bridge, located on the side
of campus facing California Blvd. next to Millikan Library,
a tall thin building that is the tallest structure on campus.
On
November 3, a van will leave Sheraton at 8:00
am, go to
Saga, and then to the campus. The van will make
as many trips as needed. After the last talk of the day, around
5:00 pm, a van will be waiting at the parking lot
across California Blvd adjacent to the tennis courts,
for people who want to go back to the hotels before the banquet.
At 6:45 pm, a van will leave Sheraton, go to
Saga, and then to the Athenaeum for the banquet.
After the banquet, there will be a van to take people
back to Sheraton and Saga.
On
November 4, a van will leave Sheraton at 8:00
am, go to Saga, and then to the campus.
After the last talk of the day, around 4:45 pm, a van
will be waiting at the parking lot across California Blvd,
to take people back to Sheraton and Saga.
During
the weekend, when the conference is taking place, visitors
can park at any of the undesignated parking slots on campus.
If you are an invited participant, during the events at the
Athenaeum (preconference reception and banquet), you
can also park at the Athenaeum parking space.
